Aligned with the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Calls to Action, the goal of the Indigenous Education Initiative is to improve educational outcomes for Indigenous youth on a national scale. The Initiative seeks to positively impact 1,000 Indigenous children directly by 2025 and to inform public policy on how K-12 educational needs can be best addressed.

Goals of the Initiative

High-performing schools that maximize choice and opportunities for students both on and off reserve.

The capacity amongst partner First Nations to maintain and advance their high performing school(s).

Our wrap-around educational models are customized to respond to the individual needs of First Nation communities.

Education is one of our most sacred and inherent treaty rights. It is our path forward and it is the legacy that we leave for our children.
