Founded in a single classroom in 1981, Calgary Academy began as a private education institute offering specialized education to students with a diagnosed Learning Disability with an average or above average IQ. Today, the flagship facility continues to provide specialized education in its Academy program and also offers a Collegiate program that serves independent learners. Combined the two programs serve up to 600 students and offers personalized learning and relational teaching.
Headwater Learning Foundation (HLF) is a non-profit entity that connects a network of educators with partners and communities committed to improving and transforming education. By providing financial means and assistance, HLF provides security and sustainability to organizations pushing the boundaries of educational change.
